One more reason to shop an indie bookstore!!

Amazon now says "Shades of Grey" ships in 1 or 2 MONTHS?! That's ridiculous! But you can order a copy today - signed, no less - from Harvard Book Store or Brookline Booksmith. You can order online, just the same as with Amazon. Or call them! Yup, they ship - and you'll be dealing with a real, live person at a real, live local and independent bookstore.

I'm happy to say that the Bristol (Virginia/Tennessee)Public Library and its Avoca Branch Library already have copies of Shades of Grey available. Er. . . that is, when I finish my review and return the books. Yes, I seem to have both out right now because I left the first copy at home and needed the second to read while I waited for my car to have its checkup. Its $$$$ checkup. So I also needed something good to take my mind off the bill to come. . .

Thanks for letting me know - and for reading, Jeanne!
I hope SOG proves a sufficient distraction! Just sent "Grey Matters" proofs back to my editor, so now of course that's my favorite book ... and nothing else comes close.
