No news

... still no news, except a quickie note from my agent saying she'll "get back to me as soon as possible." Am trying to focus on other things: my UCLA course starts next week, I'll be guestblogging at Kepler's Well-Read Donkey, too. Hard to concentrate on anything else right now though.

Clea, that's the way it always seems to go--we're always waiting on something, whether it's word back from the agent, the editor, submissions, book releases, reviews, etc. Is there any profession that requires as much waiting (and patience) as writing?

Maybe being a midwife?
But thanks, sympathy helps. Have finally been able to spend a few hours doing something else (getting my UCLA class in order - starts next week). Just had to bitch.

Patience has never been my strong suit, either, so I can relate. Distraction is good and distracting yourself with something productive is even better. Kitties are good for distraction, too - I'm sure Musetta would gladly oblige to help you take your mind off waiting and focus on her :-)
