Okay, so it's jazz and cats, and no crime...

Jazz great Charles Mingus's greatest contribution to the world at large may just have been the following detailed instructions, in his own words, on how to train a cat to use a human toilet. . Yes, really.

I'm not a big cat fan, but I am getting into Charles Mingus. This is a classic; first time I'd heard of it. I think I'll do a Charles Mingus post tomorrow on my own blog (which is mainly music and politics for now), and link back to this.

I came across your blog from a comment you left on the UCLA writer's blog. (I'm taking some writing classes there.) Cheers.
